Our mission

Build the print counter
into the browser.

Studio Print is a browser-native print workspace for the jobs small counters, students, and home users actually run — passport photos, ID-card sheets, and fast 300 DPI A4 output with on-device AI.

Why we built it

Most print tools still feel like patched-together desktop habits: one tool for background removal, another for card crops, another for sheet prep. We wanted one browser workspace that could feel modern, private, and fast on any laptop or phone.

“Fifteen minutes in Photoshop for a single ₹10 passport print was never a software problem alone — it was a workflow problem. Studio Print exists to compress that workflow into one fast browser surface.” — Studio Print team

2024 → 2026

  1. 2024 · Idea
    A shop spends 15 minutes on a ₹10 print.

The project starts as a personal script after watching a print counter struggle with Photoshop for a single passport photo. A browser tab with on-device AI felt like the right shape.

  2. 2025 · Prototype
Passport Photo, running in the browser.

First working build: on-device background removal via briaai/RMBG-1.4 through transformers.js, country presets, and a 300 DPI A4 export with cutting lines.

  3. Early 2026 · Launch
    Public at studioprint.pages.dev.

Studio Print goes live for everyone. Free tier (2 sheets/day) plus ₹59/week and ₹149/month plans for unlimited output across the live tools.

  4. Now · Multi-tool
    One workspace, multiple live workflows.

Passport Photo and ID Card Print are both live today. Certificate Editor and Background Studio are next through 2026 — all on-device, all sharing the same private browser pipeline.

What ships next

Coming in 2026 The rest of the studio

Passport Photo and ID Card Print are live. These are the next tools we are lining up through 2026:

How it works

  1. Upload a clear selfie or studio photo.
  2. Remove the background with AI (the briaai/RMBG-1.4 model, running in your browser via transformers.js).
  3. Crop & adjust to the preset of your choice.
  4. Generate a 300 DPI A4 sheet and download.
